Cyclists from the Roaring Fork Valley can help clean up the Independence Pass corridor avalanche debris this year without leaving the saddle of their bikes

Karin Teague isn’t the kind of nonprofit executive director who spends a lot of time behind a desk. The nature of her job at the Independence Pass Foundation is to be outside.

This season’s historic avalanche activity has dramatically affected Lincoln Creek, the popular recreation area 10 miles up Independence Pass.
